Why Anam Cara?
What Anam Cara means :
In Celtic Spiritual tradition, it is believed that when you connect with another and become completely open and trusting with that individual, your two souls begin to flow together. When this deep bond is formed, it is said you have found your “Anam Cara" your soul friend.
Your “Anam Cara” always accepts you as you truly are, someone to whom you can reveal your secrets. With your “Anam Cara”, you can share your innermost self, your mind and your heart. When you have an “Anam Cara" you're joined in an ancient and eternal way with the “friend of your soul”.
When you are blessed with an “Anam Cara”, you have arrived at that most sacred place: HOME. This bond between friends cannot be broken by chance, nothing can sever or destroy, and death itself cannot part.

Registered Breeders with GCCF
We sometimes have kittens available to loving, indoor homes only.
All our kittens are raised in our home as they are part of the family, and will be used to noise and the general hubbub of a family life.
All kittens will additionally have full vaccinations and come with 4 weeks Petplan Insurance, Kitten pack and their favourite toy.
To ensure the health and happiness of our kittens they will routinely be spayed or neutered before leaving us at approximately 14 weeks as per GCCF recommendations. Entire Kittens will only be given under very special circumstances. If you wish to buy a kitten for showing it is essential that you buy one that is correctly bred and registered: you may otherwise discover that it is not possible to show your cat.
Cat's which are registered on the Full Register will have a registration number and a 'pink registration' certificate from GCCF so that you can transfer the kitten into your name.
If you wish to buy a kitten as a pet you should still ensure that you are paying for a proper pedigree kitten and that the breeder has adhered to the Code of Ethics. Buying a non-registered kitten may work out much more expensive in the long term as you cannot be ensured you have actually bought a true Maine Coon.
